VAXPAP contains a set of VAX/VMS utilities for tape handling.

Usage:

This package contains the following commands:

EINIT
- initialise a tape with a label encoded in EBCDIC.
LABELDUMP
- dump the VOL1 label of a tape.
SETUP
- mount a tape with device allocation and label checking.
STAGE
- input and output tape staging.
STAGEQ
- auxiliary program to STAGE.
STAGECLN
- utility program for cleaning the staging disk(s).
TAPECOPY
- tape copy program.
WRTAPE
- write disk file to tape with ASCII or EBCDIC labels.
XTAPE
- examine tape contents (tape dump).
